My issue though, is that these "shortcuts" require the main Vivaldi instance to be open on the side, in order for these apps to work. But you probably already know about this. I am a huge fan of the "Create shortcut" feature that allows for creating a PWA of a website that opens separately from the browser this way I can multitask better by using different Spaces (or desktops) and switch app using CMD+Tab. Please use link flairs when posting! To do that, after you submit your post, click the "Flair" button under it and select a flair.
Try testing with a new user profile with no custom settings and also try flushing the app's cache. If the issue persists, list as much information about your computer that may be helpful in diagnosing the issue.
